Texas Bugs

The bugs in Texas are boggling my mind, so much so that I am starting to make bug themed jewelry.

Mother of Pearl, Pyrite, Sunstone rounds and silver pearls make a nest for a sterling beatle. This is amazing on. The contrast of the MOP focal was hard to capture with it's subtle swirls of peach and silver.

Tiger Eye and Hawk Eye Bracelet

These half Tiger Eye, half Hawk's Eye oval beads have amazing chatoyancy. They can be found at http://www.turquoisemagpie.com/. Solid brass beads, Hawk's Eye rounds and Tiger Eye heishi pull it together pleasingly.

With 35 years of experience as an international gem dealer and jewelry artist I've honed my craft through dedication and humility. My journey has taken me from geology to social work, and finally, back to my true love – gems and wire. I've traveled the Western States, trading and selling my creations at festivals, markets, and galleries.
