Fire Agate and Sunstone



I received this hunk of what appears to opal from a friend. It looks and feels suspisciously like ammaonite. This is a piece I made for myself to keep him close to my heart.

I think this might be what I have seen called ammolite. Not sure how that relates to ammonite,which I think is a fossil.
